A message from Cllr   George Savva

 Dear All,

If anybody thought we will ever give up then they probably need to think again.

The library will be back and hopefully when the Tory administation disappears into thin air by   May 2010 and  the Mike Ryes and Mike Lavenders of this world are confined along with  their Tory cronies  in the dusbin of history then perhaps we can start rebuilding Edmonton. ( Four star status. What four star status. They must be joking)

I have made myself absolutely clear that I have never been charitable to the Tories and I do not intend to start now as they have neglected Edmonton in more ways than one and more often than we would have liked.

On a daily basis I am inundated with phone calls whether it is dog fouling, litter, unsociable behaviour, uneven pavements, care for the elderly  school places, and the list goes on.

The present situation is far from satisfactory and needs a big improvement all round.

This can be achieved if we continue to keep the council aware of what needs to be done as it seems at the moment they have not got a clue.

We will be at the Former Weir Hall Library site on  Saturday the 4th April 2009 from 11.00am till 1.00 p.m.  to remind everyone of the great injustice and that no matter how loud Lavender's shouting and spitting at the  people of Edmonton  we have the power and the ability to shout back at even louder and more peaceful voice that of the ballot.

People have the power and now is the time to use it.

Looking forward to seeing you all at the Weir Hall Library site in Silver Street Edmonton on Saturday the 4t April 2009 from 11.00 a.m. till 1.00 p.m.

Kind regards

George Savva
